GNDH launches curriculum and training program.

After the enthusiasm and support our Show and Tell exhibit received, we are excited to announce Green New Deal Housing’s next step in connecting with and empowering our community: the beginning of our curriculum and training program.

Please find information below regarding our first public educational offering: a four part continuing education course called Laying the Groundwork for Sustainable Housing, taught at Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College. The 4-part series is a holistic introduction to the theory and practice of green residential building.

We are honored to have the first course offered through Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College. FDLTCC and GNDH share a commitment to environmental justice and community sustainability.

Our course flyer is attached below, and you can find a link to register for the course here.

The content is meant for builders, planners, architects, inspectors, auditors, designers, environmental advocates, and anyone else who would like to learn about the connections between housing, health, energy, and climate. Each 2 hour course will likely have MN CEU credits for residential building contractors and building inspectors. We are awaiting confirmation of the credits from the State.

We humbly ask our community to share this information with their networks, and we hope to see you there!
